My research focus is connecting star formation in the Milky Way to that in external galaxies.
My education and outreach program goals are to mentor students from diverse backgrounds that are interested in STEM fields to encourage them to pursue higher degrees (bachelors and beyond) at a 4-year College or University. This program allows students to gain professional development, leadership, and research skills they require to succeed in STEM fields.
