My current interests include: “Spider” pulsars, X-ray binaries (in particular TeV binaries and X-ray bursters), acceleration of particles, non-thermal emission, magnetic reconnection, shock waves, computational methods, and data visualization.
During my time as an NSF MPS-Ascend Fellow, I will mentor participants of the UC Santa Cruz Lamat Institute, as well as develop and lead workshops (of various topics, e.g., high-performance computing, scientific programming, data visualization, etc.) for students of neighboring community colleges.
